Stationery Winners!

I once confessed to my husband, "I could easily waste my life away just doing crafts!" This past week has confirmed that statement because I have had so much fun designing the personal stationery for the following winners, who said:

"Of course handwritten notes shouldn't be a lost art - because IT IS ART!! An email or quick text may convey necessary info or even an emoji or two, but the ART and time taken for a handwritten note is a little gift given to your recipient. Bonus if you add cute stickers too! "

-J. Ellis from Colorado

"I agree 100%! It is an art form and would love to incorporate this into my art group. I love that it hasn't lost it's touch. I prefer more personal because it means it took more thought, love, and time. I write all the time because of these things. I love different types of stationary to create beauty to those around me."

-L. Frost from Colorado

"Because humans have always archived history, since papyrus and ink had been available, people have always made their mark, told their story, treasured very personal thoughts and emotions and the exchange of ideas and updates on important, relevant news employing a painstaking and organic process of handwriting those thoughts onto beautiful paper."

-F. Okubo from Guam, USA

"I love to save notes and cards and simply out, IT'S HARD TO SAVE EMAILS! I know, I know, you can print them...hahaha! Seriously, it feels so personal and special to get a handwritten note. I got one from my Mom the other day and I felt the love through the handwriting that I am so familiar with. When I thanked her, she told me it wasn't much, but IT MADE MY DAY! (She is 91 and wasn't sure she should write again because her last two "special" letters never have made it to Yap, and she didn't want to put her heart into it and have it not arrive.) i am definitely in favor of handwritten notes! "

-G. Bistritan from Yap, FM

"I feel like sending a personalized note hand written allows the sender an opportunity to send a piece of themselves to the receiver. Knowing someone special was actually holding and putting the pen to paper just a few days prior is wonderful. Also them taking the time to express themselves from the heart. Especially when they put their fragrance on it you can almost hear their voice as you smell the aroma."

-B. Moody from Georgia

Thank you, winners, for sharing your reasons why "handwritten notes shouldn't be a lost art!" Enjoy your new stationery!

-Abigail
